The Map Room

Every map drawn for a Chronicles story, gathered in one place and grouped by the tale it belongs to.

Chronicles is serial historical audio drama — one city, one season, lived from the inside. The Map Room is its atlas: the routes really sailed, the ground really fought over, and the powers who held it, drawn so a listener can see the shape of the world a story moves through.

Each map is drawn to the conventions of a historical atlas — a legend keyed to exactly the signs it uses, with borders, routes and strongholds named as the people of the time named them. The plates are authored large and meant to be leaned into: on the site you tap any map to zoom into the detail, and every map can be downloaded as a high-resolution image.

Maps are grouped by the Chronicles story they were made for, so the atlas grows as the series does — a new season brings its own charts to the room. Nothing here is decorative: each map exists because a story needed you to see where you were standing.
